Chris “I Found My Thrill” Matthews is apparently now acting as an unpaid press secretary for president-elect Obama!

“I want to do everything I can to make this thing work, to make this new presidency work.”

Matthews stated on the Morning Joe. When the interviewers began to question him on this, you can hear him say,

“Yeah, that’s my job. It’s my job to help this country… this country needs a successful presidency…”

And so Matthews thinks he needs to help “Barack”, who he is now on a first name basis with.

Matthews is not a journalist – he’s a propagandist. Journalists ask questions… but he acts like he wants a JOB in the White House so he can be near the Messiah. He is as much ADMITTING COLLUSION in using his position to work for Obama… most likely continuing the barrage of radical, leftist propaganda that we’ve come to expect from “journalists” such as him.

This is SO unethical – he should be FIRED and FINED and possibly JAILED. (Is that possible???)

Thanks to the guys (and gal) at Morning Joe for calling him on it.

Here it is…

If they pull this video, which they already did to the other you tube clip I posted (under Fair Use), then you can also see a longer clip on the MSNBC Video Player. The statement by Matthews takes place at around 2 2 & 1/2 minutes into the clip. Date November 6.

Picking The White House Pooch – The Most Important Washington Post (to Sasha and Malia Obama)

leave a comment »

Of all the concerns about the upcoming administration, what are the news outlets talking about… even FOX?

What kind of puppy will the president-elect get for his daughters.

So… what kind of dog to get for the new First Family in the White House? It just sounds so… Paris Hilton. Kind of trivial in light of all the other pressing issues of the day.

But, as I thought about it, I actually got sort of interested in trying to figure out what a good match would be, so let’s take a stab at it.

A few of the top choices I think would be totally appropriate for an Obama White House would be:

1. An Australian Shepard. These are really smart dogs. They are super good with kids, and because of their natural herding abilities make GREAT community organizers.

2. An Ayers-dale Terrier. They like kids, but in a more supervisory, training role. Tend to be a little aggressive when things don’t go their way, but settle down to a more level demeanor in old age. Like to act innocent when you leave the room and return only to find that “someone” has just eaten your steak, and there they sit right where you left them, looking at you like they’re saying, “What? I’m just sitting here doing nothing!” (Distantly related to the less aggressive pick #5)

3. A Pit Bull. A very smart dog that gets a bad rap because of their perceived aggressive personalities. Pick this one out carefully, because they can smell your weakness and do not adapt well to radical change. Comes with a free tube of lipstick until Jan. 21st.

4. An O-Dingo. This dog is not an officially recognized breed, and is in an experimental stage, but Obama is actually actively campaigning for one of these. They can be a bit flighty and if there’s lots of people around it’s hard to tell who’s side they’re on. They tend to howl a lot at imaginary threats.

5. A Golden Redistributer. A new strain of Golden retriever that will chase an object that’s thrown for it, but once in the dog’s possession, they won’t bring the object back to you. They WILL take the object to a perfect stranger, so don’t throw anything of real value if you want it back.

6. A mixed breed dog. I hear a mix between a Bulldog and a Shih Tsu makes a nice companion when speaking to the press on the White House lawn. Just make sure you watch your step. Only drawback – they are so shaggy and keep such a low profile they don’t look like they even have a leg to stand on.

7. The Bloodhound. A canine super sleuth, this breed has an affinity for certain people’s paperwork and loves to dig in files. Caution – Does not like plumbers, so they need to be kenneled when the toilet gets clogged. Which should be often considering where he’ll be living.

Well, that’s about all I can think of for now. If you have any bright ideas, feel free to leave a comment with your suggestion.

(Okay, let’s be serious now. Every single time a president gets a dog, there is a huge surge in the public interest in that breed of dog, and ends up inevitably filling animal shelters from coast to coast. I’m going to highly recommend a mutt. They have less health issues than many pure breeds, and there are plenty of them to go around without making the puppy mill owners richer. So if Obama were to get an All-American mutt, it would be a smart choice.)

Election News: California Gay Marriage Ban Passed

The battle over Gay marriage is over in California – at least according to the people.

Hey, Obama! Redistribution of Wealth is Unconstitutional! (I’m just sayin’…)

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” — Thomas Jefferson, letter to Joseph Milligan, April 6, 1816

“A wise and frugal government … shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.” — Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1801

“Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated.” — Thomas Jefferson

“The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If ‘Thou shalt not covet’ and ‘Thou shalt not steal’ were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society before it can be civilized or made free.” — John Adams, A Defense of the Constitutions of Government of the United States of America, 1787

“With respect to the two words ‘general welfare,’ I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators.” — James Madison in a letter to James Robertson

In 1794, when Congress appropriated $15,000 for relief of French refugees who fled from insurrection in San Domingo to Baltimore and Philadelphia, James Madison stood on the floor of the House to object saying, “I cannot undertake to lay my finger on that article of the Constitution which granted a right to Congress of expending, on objects of benevolence, the money of their constituents.” — James Madison, 4 Annals of Congress 179, 1794

“[T]he government of the United States is a definite government, confined to specified objects. It is not like the state governments, whose powers are more general. Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government.” — James Madison

But maybe the Founding Fathers, who created the Constitution from scratch, were wrong and Mr. Obama is right. Mr. Obama is, after all, a Constitutional scholar… isn’t he?? What the heck do the founding fathers know!

Charity begins in the home, and not in Congress, the Supreme Court OR the White House. People tend to give more to good causes if they are allowed to do so freely and not under duress, and if they have a good example to emulate… but if forced to give through taxation, they will cease to be benevolent to their friends, their neighbors, their churches or their communities where they have a direct interest as well as cease to give to those good-works organizations which they might otherwise be convicted to donate to.

But perhaps Obama doesn’t want people to choose who to give their charity to… that’s the essence of socialism. The government knows best where to direct charity. And the government knows best where to get that charity from, and will get it by force if need be. That’s only fair, right?

“From each according to his abilities, To each according to his needs.”

Ronald Reagan on Socialism Creeping Into Government… Spread The Wealth (Video)

Socialism has tried for many, many years to worm it’s way into our government. Social programs were put into place that should have been the responsibilities of families to relatives, church benevolence outreaches and just neighbors sharing with their neighbors.

Recently, Senator Obama famously stated, “You know I don’t know when, when they decided they wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness.”

Just as the Republicans are not making a virtue out of selfishness, neither are we making socialism a virtue. Unlike Karl Marx.

This video just reminds me of some of the reasons why I became a Republican in the first place.

Get educated about your government and how it’s supposed to work. Study the history of Socialism and Communism so you will recognize the ideologies when you see them. We must fight the creeping philosophy that threatens to overcome our great nation… before the point of no return. And we’re awfully close to that point.

Obama Tells Left-Wing San Francisco Paper He will Intentionally Bankrupt the Coal Industry!

with one comment

Attention all you coal states of Coal states West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Indiana, Missouri, Wyoming, Kentucky, Texas, Montana, Illinois, Virginia, North Dakota, Colorado, Indiana, New Mexico, Utah, Ohio, Alabama, Arizona… seems like Barack Obama has a plan to bankrupt your coal mining industry.

What good is coal, you might ask?

49% of our nation’s electricity comes from coal. Let me repeat that in a different way – HALF of everyone in the United States gets their electricity from COAL. If Obama bankrupts the coal industry, where is the electricity going to come from if the infrastructure for a different energy source is not already set up?

In this video, Obama also said in this interview with the left-wing newspaper, the San Francisco Gate, that due to regulations and fines levied against coal-fired plants, electric prices will inevitably SKYROCKET. (And you thought you were ALREADY paying to much for your electricity.)

Peter after his recovery from a severe whipping. April 2, 1863, photo from National Archives and Records Administration

Peter, who was whipped by an overseer, took two months to recover from his wounds. The overseer was subsequently fired. (April 2, 1863 – photo from National Archives and Records Administration)

Were the Founding Fathers racist? What about the 3/5ths clause? Did the Constitution promote slavery or did it work against slavery? How did the two present-day major political parties form and why? What was the position of the political parties regarding slavery and whether it should remain an institution supported by the government? What happened between Sumner and Brooks on the Senate floor while Sumner was pointing the finger at the slave owners in the Senate (all democrats)? Who were the first blacks in congress and what party did they join?

Hear David Barton from Wallbuilders explain how each of the major political parties were formed, the history behind many aspects of the Constitution, with information including the infamous Dred Scott decision and how it affected anti-slavery efforts and promoted further discrimination, and the systematic political dismantling of the slave trade by Republicans (yes, Republicans.) – Historically accurate information that many people never learn in American public schools.

THESE ARE THE FULL LENGTH VIDEOS by Wallbuilders – Not you tube clips! Each video is approximately 1 hour in length. Lucky you…

Check out the Wallbuilders African-American history store page for great gifts or historical examinations of this much misunderstood part of this nation’s history, such as the book
